Know before you export
This re-encodes the image. JPEG and WebP may change pixels; PNG preserves the decoded canvas pixels. Browser encoders may add their own color or resolution information. This is not a byte-for-byte lossless metadata editor.
Supported files
Still JPEG, PNG, WebP and AVIF up to 20 MiB and 64 megapixels, plus HEIC where your browser can open it (Safari on Mac, iPhone and iPad). Photos above 24 megapixels are edited at 24 megapixels, and color effects run at up to 12 megapixels. Multi-image tools allow 12 files and 60 MiB of combined input. GIF, SVG, animated images and RAW formats are not supported.

Remove metadata: common questions
Is metadata removal lossless?
This tool decodes and re-encodes the picture. PNG preserves decoded canvas pixels, while JPEG and WebP can change them. It is not a byte-for-byte lossless metadata editor.
Does the export contain no metadata at all?
Source EXIF, GPS and text metadata are not copied into the canvas export. Browser encoders can add their own color or resolution information. Keep the original separately and inspect the new file for your intended use.
