The grid is limited to 4 columns and 4 rows and cannot have more rows or columns than source pixels. When dimensions do not divide evenly, neighboring tiles may differ by one pixel; no edge pixels are discarded.

    Supported files

    Split into tiles: common questions

What happens if dimensions do not divide evenly?

Neighboring tiles can differ by one pixel. Every source pixel belongs to exactly one tile, so the split does not discard edge pixels or stretch the image.

How many tiles can I create?

Choose one to four rows and columns, for up to 16 tiles. The grid cannot contain more rows or columns than the image has pixels. Export individual tiles or the combined ZIP.
